Lessons begin today, Tuesday January 7th. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and lots of memories with family and friends. We have a very full and exciting semester. The calendar is online at

I will be on tour with the Utah Symphony this month bringing music to schools in Utah. This is part of what the Utah Symphony does for the money donated from the Zoo Arts and Parks tax and the children really love the opportunity to see an orchestra.  If you have lessons on January 15 and 22 I will be rescheduling these to the 13th and 20th. If you have lessons on the 17th I will be rescheduling to the 18th. Please bring your calendars to your lesson this week.

Group Lessons are Tuesday, January 27th. Book one is 5pm and Book Two+ is 6pm. They will be held at Summerhays.

Graduation is Tuesday, February 4th at Juan Diego High School (300 East 11800 South, Draper). Book 6+ Students please arrive at 6pm to rehearse. Everyone else please arrive at 6:30. Program begins at 7pm. Also, they are asking that students wear white shirt, bouse & black slacks or skirt for continuity.

The studio will be having a 100-day practice challenge. I believe it will be a really wonderful, challenging, and satisfying experience for everyone, including me, to commit to practicing 100 days in a row this semester. We will have charts to keep track and will discuss a possible party or group reward. Please check your schedules and plan ahead to make this a reality.

No regular lessons January 27-31.
