July Newsletter

Hi!  I hope you are all enjoying the wonderful summer weather.  Please remember, even though schedules are random and hectic this time a year, to save a few minutes every day for practice.  If summer is your favorite season (like it is mine) and you love being outside try practicing outside.  As long as it’s not too hot or raining and you’re in a shaded place it will be fine for your instrument.  Here are a few notes for July.

July group lessons. We will meet Wednesday, July 13th at Sugarhouse Park.  Same space as last month (refer to June newsletter for directions). Twinklers and Book 1 will be at 10-11am and Book 2+ will be at 10:30-11:30am.  The second group lesson is Saturday, July 30th at Summerhays.  Twinklers and Book 1 will be at 10-11am and Book 2+ will be at 10:30am-11:30am. We have been having such a great time and learning a lot.  I appreciate you making it a priority to attend.

Studio bulletin board. There is a new studio bulletin board with information about local events, envelopes for tuition, and more. Please feel free to check it out before or after your lessons. There is currently information about free, summer Utah Symphony concerts.  This would be a fun way to attend as most are outside and allow you to bring a picnic dinner.

I plan to switch the schedule slightly beginning Monday, August 22 to accommodate school schedules. If you need a different time than you currently have or your school starts before this please let me know.  The schedule is available for you to view at and .

Lastly, no lessons July 1-6.  Have a wonderful 4th of July!  Please remember to bring the July tuition to your first lesson this month.
